About
A classic story in many ways, it started with my father’s Pentax K1000 and the beautiful photos that amazed a 10-year-old girl, then the high school photography classes, a bad freshman year at college, and the turning back to a beloved hobby.
Someone once told me to take the two things I love most in life.
Told me to turn the second into a career, and treasure the first.
I decided against that.
I finished an associate’s degree in photography in 2008 and am now developing my true love for photojournalism. Tompkins Cortland Community College taught me about art, and now Western Kentucky University is teaching me about storytelling.
